Storage Units
Know what's in every box - without opening a single one.
Storage units are where things go to disappear. StorageBot brings them back. Label every box before it goes in, scan from your phone, and find anything in seconds - even from the parking lot.
Sound familiar?
Boxes stacked floor to ceiling
You need the holiday lights but they're behind six other boxes. With QR labels, you know exactly which one to grab.
"I think it's in the storage unit…"
A 45-minute trip to dig through boxes - or a 5-second scan on your phone. StorageBot makes the second option possible.
You're paying to store you don't know about
Cataloging your storage unit often reveals things you can donate, sell, or throw away - saving you monthly rent.
How StorageBot helps
Label boxes before they go in
Photograph box contents as you pack. Print a QR label and stick it on the outside. By the time the box is sealed, it's already cataloged.
Scan from your phone, anywhere
Scan any label with your phone camera to see the full contents. No login required to scan - works for anyone with a phone.
Map your unit layout
Create a location for your storage unit and containers for rows, sections, or shelving units. Know not just what's in a box, but where in the unit it lives.
Bulk print labels before a move
Generate a batch of QR labels and print them before you start packing. Stick one on each box and fill them in as you go.
Search from anywhere
Standing in the storage unit parking lot wondering if the ski boots are there? Search on your phone in seconds.
Works for multiple units
On the Pro plan, create as many locations as you need - multiple storage units, plus your garage, plus your attic.
Common questions
Can I use this during a move?
StorageBot is ideal for moves. Print blank labels before you start packing, stick them on boxes, then photograph the contents as you fill each box. By moving day, your entire inventory is already cataloged.
What if the box contents change?
Just open the container in the app and update the items. The QR label on the outside stays the same - only the digital record changes.
Do I need Wi-Fi in my storage unit to scan labels?
You need a cell signal or Wi-Fi to look up the item details after scanning. Most storage facilities have enough outdoor signal to work fine. The QR code itself just contains a URL - any phone camera can read it.
